Campus life

With admission results just around the corner, an important new step is on the horizon: finding accommodation. Looking for a place to live in Lille may seem stressful at first, but with a bit of anticipation and the right tools, it quickly becomes much easier to manage!

Neighbourhoods to explore

Before starting your search, it’s important to identify the neighborhood(s) that suit you best. Lille is a human-sized, dynamic, and highly student-friendly city, with a variety of neighbourhoods that cater to different lifestyles. Among the most popular:

  • Vauban-Esquermes, highly appreciated by students for its proximity to campus
  • Wazemmes, lively and friendly
  • Bois Blancs, peaceful and green
  • The city center, ideal for being at the heart of the action
  • Old Lille, more charming and historic
  • Faubourg de Béthune, authentic and down-to-earth

To learn more about these neighborhoods and choose the one that suits you best, check out our dedicated page.

Easy accessibility

The ESPOL campus is particularly well connected. It is accessible by bus (Université Catholique de Lille stop) as well as by metro, with the Cormontaigne and Gambetta stations located about a 10-minute walk away. And if you prefer cycling, many V’Lille bike stations are available nearby. A real advantage for making your daily life easier, wherever you choose to live!

Also consider the Visale guarantee, a free scheme that can make it easier to rent by reassuring landlords.
