Joining us, your path at ESPOL

European students who wish to apply for the first year of a Bachelor’s Degree should apply through the Parcoursup Platform.

Parcoursup calendar 2026 :

• 19 January > 12 March : registration and formulation of wishes
• 1st April : last day to complete your application and confirm your choices
• From 2nd June : beginning of the admission phase

Non-European students need to pass the Preliminary Admission or  "Demande d'Admission Préalable" to apply for French institutions, and should also apply online through Campus France.

Required documents:

• Cover letter written in English
• High school transcripts

Register your application on the admission platform of the Université Catholique de Lille admissions area.

If you have validated a first year after high school and obtained 60 ECTS credits in political science, international relations or a related subject (sociology, law, economics, history...), you can apply for the 2nd year of the Bachelor’s degree at ESPOL.

Required documents:

• English language certificate attesting to a minimum B2 level*
  (TOEIC, TOEFL, PTE, IELTS, Cambridge tests).
• Baccalaureate diploma
• Baccalaureate transcripts
• 2nd and 3rd year of high school transcripts
• Transcripts from the first year of the Licence programme
• Curriculum vitae
• Covering letter in English

*A language test is not required for native English speakers or students with an undergraduate/graduate degree in English. (Proof of French language proficiency is not required).

Please do not add any additional documents other than those listed above. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

European students

Applications are made entirely via the French Mon Master application platform.

Mon Master calendar 2026 :

• 17 February > 16 March : submission of applications
• From 21 March : review of applications by institutions
• From 3 to 16 June : main admission phase

International students, outside the EU

Registration for ESPOL is done in 2 stages. It starts via the Études en France platform and then you will need to finalise your application on the Université Catholique de Lille admission platform.

Citizens of the European Union 

Admission phase: February - May

Registration is done on the admission platform of the Université Catholique de Lille. You must register and complete your application with the required elements.

International applicants from outside the EU

Admission phase: February - May.

To do a PhD at ESPOL, certain conditions must be met. You must hold a Master's degree or equivalent, be accepted by a thesis director and find funding. For administrative details, please consult the ‘Applying for a thesis’ page of the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.
