Scholarships and prizes

Each year, ESPOL promotes academic excellence and student achievement through two support and recognition schemes: the ESPOL Scholarship and the Susan Strange Prize.

Applications are open until 3 July 2026 (inclusive).

ESPOL Scholarship

The ESPOL Scholarship is open to ESPOL students enrolling in Year 2 or Year 3 of the Bachelor’s programme, or Year 1 or Year 2 of the Master’s programme. Designed to help cover tuition fees, the scholarship is awarded in the amount of €1,000 or €2,000.

Selection criteria

Applications will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • Academic excellence, as demonstrated by the applicant’s academic record (ranking among the top 10% of their cohort during the 2025–2026 academic year);
  • The applicant’s motivation;
  • The relevance of the applicant’s career plan to ESPOL’s academic programmes.

How to apply

Applicants must submit the following documents no later than 3 July 2026 at 11:59 p.m.:

  • A cover letter;
  • A curriculum vitae (CV).

Eligible candidates have already received an email containing all the information and application details.

Additional Information

The ESPOL Scholarship may be combined with the merit scholarship awarded by the Fondation de l’Université Catholique de Lille, as well as with CROUS grants. Its purpose is to help students finance their tuition fees.

However, it cannot be combined with schemes that already cover all or part of these fees (such as Campus France scholarships, Feron-Vrau grants, etc.).

An internal committee chaired by a member of the ESPOL management team will meet during July 2026 to review applications and award the scholarships.

The full ESPOL Scholarship regulations are available on the Agora platform.

Eligible applicants must have obtained:
