  • Loïc Delhuvenne has been Director General of the Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolis Agency since 2016.

    He obtained a Master's degree in Political Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2008 and continued his studies with executive courses at SciencesPo Paris and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

    Prior to his current appointment, he held a number of roles in local and regional government administration in Belgium, as an adviser on European policy.

    In particular, between 2012 and 2016, he was an expert for Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in the fields of cohesion policy and European territorial cooperation.

    An expert on European regional policy, Loïc Delhuvenne is a lecturer at ESPOL, the European School of Political and Social Sciences.

    He recently co-authored a weekly newsletter with Fabienne Leloup and Éric Delecosse for the Centre de recherche et d'information socio-politiques - CRISP, entitled "L'Eurométropole Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai, instrument au service de l'institutionnalisation de la coopération transfrontalière".
