I am a Maître de Conférences (Assistant Professor) at ESPOL, in Politics, Philosophy & Economics, at the Catholic University of Lille, and hold a PhD in Political Philosophy from the ENS in Lyon. My work focuses on neoliberal political theory and, more recently, theories of social justice in market and competitive situations. I am also interested in how a pluralistic and complex society should be organized from an institutional point of view. My work explores the intersections between political philosophy, economics, and social sciences, with a focus on:
Neoliberalism and rules: Analysis of the contributions of thinkers such as Hayek, Lippmann, Buchanan, and Posner to the design of rules that promote competitive markets.
Social justice: Reconciling liberal theories (Rawls, Hayek) and exploring non-statist alternatives to social justice.
Deliberation and complexity: Studying the mechanisms of democratic deliberation in the face of pluralism and social complexity.
Federalism and polycentricity: Defending federal systems for governance adapted to diverse societies.
