Lucas holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Master 2 in Innovation Management from the Sorbonne. He is currently pursuing his PhD at ESPOL on lithium and its role in the reshaping of mining and industrial policy in France and Europe. Prior to his PhD, Lucas worked for the OECD and the Global Trade Alert initiative as a policy analyst. In particular, he conducted research on public policies to support innovation and entrepreneurship and on economic protectionism in European countries.
