  • Celia Challet joined ESPOL in September 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Law.

    Her research focuses on European Union institutional law and EU external relations law. She has published on the sanctions adopted by the European Union in the framework of the Common Foreign and Security Policy and their judicial review by the Court of Justice of the European Union. She is also an active member of the Multidisciplinary International Network on Sanctions (MINOS), a research and teaching network dedicated to the multidisciplinary study of international sanctions.

    Celia Challet holds a PhD in Law from Ghent University (2025). She previously served as an Academic Assistant in European Law, and later as an Assistant to the Director of European Legal Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges (2019–2024). She also holds an LL.M. in European Law from the College of Europe, as well as a Master’s degree in European Business Law from Paris Panthéon-Assas University (2018).
