The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship: An opportunity to study at ESPOL

What is the Eiffel scholarship?
The France Excellence Eiffel scholarship programme targets applicants from all over the world, enabling them to study in France. This scholarship offers you a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge and skills in political science by pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree at ESPOL.
Benefits of the scholarship
Students selected for the Eiffel scholarship benefit from a number of financial advantages:
- A monthly allowance of €1,181 for master’s students and €1,700 for doctoral students, plus a number of benefits.

- Social security cover for the duration of the stay,

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Eiffel scholarship, applicants must :
- Be under 25 years of age to apply for a Master’s degree,
- Be of foreign nationality (the scholarship is not available to French students),
- Not have already received an Eiffel scholarship at another level of study,
- Prove excellent academic results and strong potential in the chosen field of study.
How to apply for ESPOL
Students cannot apply directly for the Eiffel scholarship. It is the host institution, which must submit the application on behalf of the student. If you wish to apply for this scholarship to join a Master’s programme at ESPOL, it is essential to follow the following steps:
- Prepare a strong application including the following elements:
- Resume
- Letter of motivation for the Eiffel scholarship
- Copy of passport
- Copy of all higher education diploma
with translation if necessary - Copy of transcript of grades for years of study in higher education
with translation if necessary - For Master’s level: Certificate of level of teaching language for the desired Master’s course
C1 for Master 1 and C2 for Master 2 - For doctoral level: thesis proposal (1 to 5 pages), letter of assessment from the thesis director, doctoral school director and laboratory director and a copy of the co-supervision or co-directorship agreement.
- Submit your complete application before ESPOL’s internal application deadline of 6 December 2024.
