Lille, October 24th, 2025 — ESPOL was pleased to welcome a delegation from the University of the Visayas, Cebu, Philippines, to its campus this Friday.
ESPOL welcomes the University of the Visayas to sign a new partnership
The visit aimed to sign a new cooperation agreement between the two institutions, represented by Andrew Glencross, Director of ESPOL, Michael Holmes, co-Director of International Mobility at ESPOL, and Rogie Nichole Aquino, Director of International Affairs and Linkages Department at UV and ESPOL alumni (Master’s degree, 2022). The partnership will promote student exchanges and academic collaboration between ESPOL and the University of the Visayas.
The delegation included Rosemarie Español, Kim Edriel Español, Darling Chyrmyth Estorgio, Edwin Estorgio, Yvonne Sevilla, and Joseph Randi Torregosa, representing various faculties such as Business Administration, Law, and Health Sciences.
During their visit, the UV representatives also met with the International Relations Office and several faculties of Université Catholique de Lille — including FLD (Law), FMMS (Medicine), and JUNIA (Engineering) — to discuss future collaboration opportunities.
This visit marks an important step in strengthening academic and cultural ties between ESPOL and the University of the Visayas.
